Frequently Asked Questions

Healing Sessions (Humans and Animals)

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is a modality that is considered part of the healing modalities that use a ‘laying of hands’ approach. It was discovered by Master Usui and brought the US by Master Takata. Master Instructors are attuned through the use of symbols that are part of the healing process. Holy Fire Reiki is passed through empowerments and ignitions. At Christa Healing and Wellness Center your Reiki session includes the laying of hands, or hovering if you are sensitive to touch. We are channels, we are not performing the healing, we are not healing, the Universe, God, Source, whatever resonates with you is allowing the healing to happen. Through hand placement the energy will be transferred to you, thus it feels as if the practitioner is healing. Sessions can be in-person or remote and we offer 30 or 60 minute sessions.

Reiki sessions are available for Animals as 30 minute sessions, they can be in-person or remote. If in-person, we will complete the session outside or in your car to provide a level of comfort and security for your pet.

IET (Integrated Energy Therapy) was channeled from Archangel Ariel through Stevan Thayer and uses the violet angelic energy ray that is brought through the nine Healing Angels of the Energy Field. This modality also uses a ‘laying of hands’ with specific hand positions. Master Instructors are also attuned through the use of symbols and are used as part of the healing process. Practitioners have three degrees and different processes for laying of hands. Practitioners have been attuned but do not have the additional use of the symbols in their healing. This does not diminish the healing, it just changes the energies. Sessions can be in-person or remote and we offer 30 or 60 minute sessions. Need a boost, ask about our IET Empowerment Session, this is a shorter version, completed in a chair and lasts about 15 minutes.

IET sessions are available for Animals as 30 minute sessions, they can be in-person or remote. If in-person, we will complete the session outside or in your car to provide a level of comfort and security for your pet.

Spiritual Healing is our final form of hands on healing. This is what we feel is a pure form of energetic healing. A session is only 20 minutes in length (plan on 30, see What Does A Session Look Like). You are seated in a chair and the practitioner places their hands lightly on your shoulders and allows the energy to run. There is nothing else that is needed from the practitioner or you. Spirit does all the work.

Understanding Your Session

What’s Included? An amazing question. If we are lead by spirit to provide additional / add on therapies such as Tuning Forks, Hot Stones, or Chakra Balancing that will be provided. Our Reiki table has a Crystal Healing Mat that is filled with Tourmaline and Jade Disks, Clear Quartz and Amethyst Crystal chips that enhance the healing process. The mat can be ‘warmed’ by plugging it in, or it can be warmed through the bodies natural heat. Please let us know if you would like the additional heat or allow nature to do its thing. All of these are provided to you at no extra charge.

What will You Feel Like During and After Your Session? Another good question. During the session you may feel cold, warm, or nothing at all. The practitioners hands may feel cold or warm. You may experience tingling, ‘sparks’, the urge to laugh, cry, pure joy, or extreme peace. There is no right or wrong way to feel. You may see colors or hear music. Your experience is your own and no one can refute what you feel or expect you to feel anything. Spirit works in ways that is best for you. Healing will take place not matter what happens. It is all about intent. Allow Spirit, Source, the Angels, God, and Universe to do their job.

How Long does a Session Last? That is based on the length of the scheduled session. A 30-minute session will run approximately 45 to 50 minutes as there is about 10 minutes of intake where we will discuss what your are seeking for this healing session. After your session ends we have left plenty of time to discuss next steps, ensure you are fully grounded, and share any experiences or concerns that you may have. If you are visiting the Center during a Discover Session Day, most sessions are 20 minutes with 5 minutes at the beginning and end to cover the intake and follow-up.

Our Beliefs Surrounding Healing is that we are participating in your healing; many have received ‘messages’ from their practitioners, we do not provide that type of session. If you are looking for a message, please schedule a reading. We do not believe in splitting our energy to listen and channel energy. We channel the energy so that you receive our full attention and the full attention of the healing energy to do what it should do, heal.

Please complete the appropriate intake form prior to our first meeting.

Cat, Dog, Horse Healing

Healing Sessions (IET, Reiki) are available for Animals as 30 minute sessions, this includes in-take, the healing, and post treatment discussion. Animals often only need 5 to 15 minutes of healing time, if the animal sits calmly for more than the maximum (15 minutes) the practitioner may extend the healing time at their discretion.

Healings can be performed in-person or remote. If in-person, we will complete the session outside or in your car to provide a level of comfort and security for your pet.
